New York Giants Fantasy Football Team Preview For 2026
Ian Hartitz breaks down the New York Giants for fantasy football ahead of the 2026 NFL season.
The Giants haven't been, you know, good in quite some time. In fact, 2016 was the last time the G-Men posted a positive point differential during the regular season. Only the Jets (2015) have a longer streak.
While the 2025 edition of the New York Football Giants featured some fun moments on offense behind rookies Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo, this was still anyone's idea of a bad football team when the season was all said and done.
Fantasy Football Team Preview for the New York Giants

Enter: Longtime Ravens HC John Harbaugh, who is flanked by former Chiefs OC/Bears HC Matt Nagy and ex-Titans DC Dennard Wilson. The trio will look to turn around a franchise that has struggled to be relevant in the post-Eli Manning era, but they'll have to do so without arguably the team's best player, DT Dexter Lawrence (traded to the Bengals).
Good news: A fair bit of talent has been added to this squad on both sides of the ball.
- Pass catchers: Slot maven Wan'Dale Robinson is out, but Harbaugh brought his overqualified TE2 Isaiah Likely with him to New York. The team also signed former Bear/Falcon WR Darnell Mooney, ex-Steelers speedster/return ace Calvin Austin, and used a third-round pick on Notre Dame contested-catch artist Malachi Fields.
- Offensive line: The Giants used their newfound top-10 pick from the Bengals as part of the D-Law trade to go ahead and draft monstrous Miami OT Francis Mauigoa. He'll start his career at guard; just realize this offensive line could be on its way to having two aces in LT Andrew Thomas and Mauigoa.
- Defense: The crown jewel is fifth overall pick LB/EDGE Arvell Reese out of THE Ohio State University, but the team also managed to add Tennessee CB Colton Hood (No. 37 overall) as well as former Jaguars CB Greg Newsome and ex-Bear LB Tremaine Edmunds.
What follows is a fantasy-focused team preview of the New York FOOTBALL Giants ahead of the 2026 season. Make sure to check out our fantasy football rankings for updated player ranks all year long.
As always: It's a great day to be great.
Does Jaxson Dart deserve to be drafted as a top-10 fantasy QB?
- QB1: Jaxson Dart (QB11)
- QB2: Jameis Winston
- RB3: Brandon Allen
Probably. After all, the man trailed only Josh f*cking Allen in fantasy points *from rushing* in 2025. And Dart looked good doing it! (When he wasn't forced to hang out in the injury tent.)
What's the next step for Jaxson Dart?
Is Cam Skattebo THE Zero-RB target of 2026?
- RB1: Cam Skattebo (RB19)
- RB2: Tyrone Tracy (RB44)
- RB3: Devin Singletary
On the one hand, Skattebo did some really cool things in 2025. The jackhammer alpha male's unique ability to thrive between the tackles and on the outside as a receiver made him a bit of a fantasy godsend: Skattebo's 16 PPR points per game were good for the ninth-highest mark among all running backs to play at least eight games last season! And he didn't even get his first start until Week 4!
A return to health could mean a boom season for Skattebo
What are realistic Year 3 expectations for Malik Nabers?
- WR1: Malik Nabers (WR11)
- WR2: Darnell Mooney (WR78)
- WR3: Malachi Fields (WR89)
- WR4: Darius Slayton (WR121)
- WR5: Calvin Austin
The sixth overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft posted an electric rookie campaign, catching 109 of 170 (!) targets for 1,204 yards and 7 touchdowns in just 15 games. Nabers' per-route efficiency in 19 career games is up there with the best wideouts in the league.
Is Isaiah Likely the projected No. 2 pass-game option in New York?
- TE1: Isaiah Likely (TE14)
- TE2: Theo Johnson
- TE3: Chris Manhertz
The glass-half-full and glass-half-empty cases for Likely ahead of 2026:
- Bull case: John Harbaugh unleashes his longtime No. 2 TE as THE clear-cut No. 2 pass-game option of a wide-open passing game that isn't even guaranteed to have No. 1 WR Malik Nabers during the early portions of the season.
- Bear case: More natural inline options Theo Johnson and Chris Manhertz prevent Likely from securing a true full-time role, and Jaxson Dart doesn't take a step forward in an offense that winds up running the ball at a near league-high rate.
Very Likely this could be Isaiah's breakout season
Predictions for the 2026 New York Giants
Win total prediction: Maybe Jaxson Dart is simply HIM, and he powers the Giants to their second winning season in the last decade. But man, rough injury timelines for the offense's top-2 playmakers isn't a great start, nor is the reality that Dart's progression is in the hands of Matt Nagy. The defense continues to boast a lot of talent in the front-seven, but that was also the case last season. I'm taking UNDER 7.5 wins for a squad that (again) mostly just has to hope the young QB can put the team on his back like a prime Greg Jennings.
Bold fantasy call: Isaiah Likely finishes as the clear No. 2 target in this offense and provides the best season of his career, finishing as a top-6 scorer in PPR points per game.
Last season predictions: Over 5.5 wins (whoops), and Darius Slayton turning in a borderline WR3 finish (I need to get some help).
